Back by popular demand, Art Knit Lace provides another opportunity for knitters who love
art and have a passion for knitting to celebrate the relationship between art and craft.
Art Center docent and lifelong knitter Kim Finley will be back to speak about knitting and
its representation in the world of visual art, both image and material, past and present.
She will also discuss lace knitting, its history, variety, and beauty. As with Art Knit Love,
the program will feature a show-and-tell. Knitters of all levels are invited to share projects,
works-in-progress, ideas, and inspiration.
Refreshments will be available.
A small knitted lace project will be given to the first 25 participants.
