Dive into the realm of decontextualized iconography and learn how to create a monotype
print by Iowa Artist 2012: Print participant Jon Gourley. Focusing on failed communication, Gourley
is interested in the multiplicity of language and the subsequent disconnect between individuals.
Participants will visit the gallery and learn about the artist’s work first hand, then will prepare
for an enriching afternoon of printmaking.
