Studio art classes and workshops are available for students of all ages. The studio program was established in 1948 with the opening of the Eliel Saarinen building. Classes are offered in painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, jewelry, mixed media, and a variety of other media as well as art appreciation. Students may enroll in 13-week terms in the fall or spring. Summer classes consist of a six-week term for adults and a ten-week term for children. In addition, family and adult workshops and children's day camps offer something for everyone, including a way for families to spend time learning, creating, and enjoying art together.
