Listen to a Symphony Inspired by the Pappajohn Sculpture Park

In recognition of the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra’s 75th anniversary season in 2012-2013, Emmy Award-winning composer Steve Heitzeg was commissioned to create a symphony inspired by the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park. “Symphony In Sculpture” is the resulting work; a 30-minute score celebrating in sound nine sculptures in the park.
