Restaurant
The Des Moines Art Center Restaurant creates a new menu each week
of fresh seasonal handmade soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, and desserts.
Lunch is served from 11 am – 2 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, in an elegant,
light, airy atmosphere with courtyard dining by the reflecting pool (in season).
Wine, beer, and liquor are available.
The Art Center Restaurant has been awarded five stars (on a scale of 1 – 5) from
The Des Moines Register. The Register also named Chef and Manager Lisa LaValle
one of Des Moines' top five chefs in 2009.
