SUMMARY:Community Access Program: Student Exhibition Opening Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the opening celebration of the Community Access Program student exhibition! Community Access discovers creative ways of making artworks and art-making accessible to those in our community that otherwise lack this access. Artwork on view has been created by Advanced Learning Program\, Al Exito\, Achieving Maximum Potential\, Children’s Cancer Connection\, Conmigo Early Education Center\, Des Moines Deaf Community Art Gathering\, Families Forward\, Des Moines Public Schools\, Lutheran Services of Iowa\, Queer Youth Resource Center\, Woodward Academy\, Young Women’s Resource Center\, Veterans RCF\, and Veterans Art Club. \nStop by the Art Center and enjoy the opening celebration all day on Friday\, April 5 from 10 am – 7 pm. Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day. The student exhibition will be on view in the Herbert Galleries of the Education Wing from April 5 – May 5.
