DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun\, free\, family-friendly event that celebrates the many ways stories can be shared—through books\, performances\, art\, and more! Inspired by the vibrant exhibition\, “Samantha Box: Caribbean Dreams\,” the Des Moines Art Center has teamed up with CultureALL\, the Des Moines Playhouse\, the Des Moines Public Library\, and local independent bookstores to bring you a day full of storytelling magic. We invite you to come experience the power of shared narratives\, creativity\, imagination\, and community. \nSCHEDULE\n11:15 – 11:45 am: Storytelling through puppetry workshop with the Des Moines Playhouse\nNoon\, 12:20\, and 12:40 pm: Childhood Stories with CultureALL storyteller Gurwinder Singh Kapur\n1 – 1:45 pm: Adventure Clubhouse performs “Goldie Rocks” with the Des Moines Playhouse\n2\, 2:20\, and 2:40 pm: Childhood Stories with CultureALL storyteller Sylvia Nemmers \nThis event is free\, and no registration is required. This event will be documented with photography.
