DESCRIPTION:NAMI Iowa\, Project Recovery Iowa\, and the Des Moines Art Center present a transformative evening discussing the role art can play in recovery. \nJoin us to learn how the museum can be used to amplify your well-being. We’ll explore the benefits of art in our daily lives by connecting with the artwork and participating in conversations about resiliency\, self-care\, and mental health advocacy. This guided gallery event is created in partnership with NAMI Iowa and led by Des Moines Art Center Museum Educator\, Mia Buch. \nThe program consists of a one-hour participatory museum visit\, followed by 30 minutes of dialog and resource sharing.
