INTRODUCTION TO COLLAGE AND FOUND OBJECTS
Learn the process of incorporating found objects into collage as a way of creating symbols or portraying personal expression in contemporary art. This class will teach a clear comprehension of the foundational mediums of painting, drawing, and collage and combine them with the use of found objects. Themes range from investigating global and personal concerns to modern or personal issues that affect our lives. Students will source found materials for their work and explore the application of painting, drawing, and assemblage.
