Description
CERAMIC SURFACE DECORATION: MISHIMA
Mishima is a technique of inlaying slip, underglaze, or even contrasting clays into the main clay body of a pottery piece. In this workshop, participants will learn about and use the Mishima technique to create fine, intricate design work on clay surfaces with sharp edged tools that can be used to give unique looks to the surface and replicate patterns or singular designs.
