FROM CRAFT TO CONCEPT: MASTER CLASS WITH RAE STERN

Join fellow advanced art students in this encouraging environment to enrich the conceptual aspects of your art. Each student will develop their personal expression through a series of creative exercises. Classes will include a combination of image presentations, group discussions and home assignments. The ideation and research techniques taught in the class will be suitable for all mediums and encourage an interdisciplinary approach. Class outcomes can include expressing a personal narrative through your work, developing a personalized decorative style, or creating a unique language of forms. By building the muscles of creative exploration, the ideation techniques will become part of each student’s toolbox. The class will be taught virtually with an option for attending the final fifth session in person, or virtually, for an informal discussion about the work and ideas in a constructive critiquing environment.
