ART, MOVEMENT, AND CHOREOGRAPHY

You are never too old to dance and try creative movements! Students will learn a new way of expression and creativity in this gentle movement class. With a focus on connecting with art, ourselves, and others, this class is a fun opportunity to heighten body awareness and learn a new way to see and talk about art. Participants will make their own movement choices in response to creative prompts and art pieces in or around the Des Moines Art Center.?

All ages and ability levels are welcome. Dances can be done standing and/or sitting. Wear comfortable clothing. Scholarships for class and materials are available.
