Creative Contemporary Dance Workshop
Dance, dance, dance! Join professional modern dance instructors Kathleen Hurley and Paula McArthur as we explore the art of dance making. Participants will learn how to make their own dances inspired by hands-on art and movement projects. We bring hula hoops, stretchy fabric, and lively music — and you bring your body! All genders and ability levels are welcome. Kids should wear comfortable clothing (we might go upside down, so no skirts/dresses and wear a shirt that can be tucked in, please) and be ready to dance barefoot.
Tuition $160 ($130 *members)
Campers now receive a Des Moines Art Center summer camp t-shirt as part of their tuition.
