ART DECO & ART NOUVEAU: ADVERTISMENT DESIGN
Look back through the lens of Art Deco and Art Nouveau to the Golden Age of Graphic Illustration and Advertising. Art Deco and Art Nouveau are synonymous with advertising and illustrating the world with flair from travel and luxury items, film and cinema, to worldwide events. Students will look at popular examples of fashion, architecture, automotive design, and more, before, during and after World War 1. A lecture on these artistic movements and their influence will be given to help students understand the importance of and impressions left by Art Deco and Art Nouveau.
