In this lecture, Artist Liza Lou will discuss the process and meaning behind her labor-intensive work, beginning with “Kitchen” (1991-1996), to subsequent work that has taken her around the world and is now centered in the meditation, stillness, and quietude that was inside the process of her work all along. “Kitchen,” the work which launched her career, will be on view at the Art Center in the “Transform Any Room” exhibition.
This lecture is free to attend and is supported by the Margaret Ann (Dudie) Ash Fund. Registration is required.
