As a new benefit of membership, Art Center members are invited to join us for a day-trip to Iowa City on Saturday, May 6!
Join us for a docent-led tour at the new Stanley Museum of Art to discover their world-class art collection. We will then enjoy lunch together at the St. Burch Tavern. Next, we’ll head to the School of Art and Art History for an exclusive tour of the award-winning architecture and a peek at their labs and studios.
10:30 am – Tour of the Stanley Museum of Art
12 pm – Lunch at St. Burch Tavern (1 entrée + 1 non-alcoholic drink)
2 pm – Tour of University of Iowa’s School of Art and Art History
Ticket Price: $25 per person
Transportation to and around Iowa City is not provided by the Art Center. Guests will depart from Des Moines at 8:30 am – either on their own, or caravanning from the Art Center parking lot utilizing their own transportation. The group will meet at the Stanley Museum at 10:30 am in Iowa City.
