Members of Salon 4700 are invited to a performance-based commission by Des Moines-based artist Firat Erdim, in which 16 volunteer members will “play the weather” with instruments devised by Erdim. The public performance will be presented outside on the west side of the Richard Meier building and will be approximately 20 minutes.
Following the public performance, Members of Salon 4700 are invited to continue the conversation with Erdim during a private reception in the Tangerine restaurant and the Bookey Family courtyard.
