FROM BLACK TO WHITE: DRAWING FROM OBSERVATION

Join fellow students for this deep dive into the dynamic contrast one can explore through the blacks, whites, and grey tones of drawing. You will work with the instructor on compositions that bring volume to your canvases without running off the page. Students will explore building volume and in 3-dimensional space with a focus on charcoal and graphite. Students are expected to bring their own materials. Scholarships for class and materials are offered.
