The Des Moines Art Center offers guided tours and self-guided tours through the museum as well as the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park.
Tours are as interactive as the group would like, and address the permanent collections as well as any special exhibitions on view.
Self-guided tours are welcome during public hours and must be reserved ahead of time. We offer special guided tours for non- or low-sighted individuals at both locations. Depending on studio availability, a tour and art project can be scheduled.
Learn about art! Listen to audio content about works in the permanent collection. Hear from artists, museum staff, and more.
While at the Pappajohn Sculpture Park, use your cell phone to learn more about the works of art as you explore, or listen online from the comfort of your own home.
This walking guide navigates the sculptures on the grounds of the Art Center nestled in Des Moines’ Greenwood Park.
