Des Moines Art Center Photography Policy

Photography and videography for personal, noncommercial use is allowed in the museum’s permanent collection galleries. Personal use includes personal cameras, cell phones, tablets, and other non-commercial devices. The use of flash, lights, tripods, and selfie-sticks are prohibited .

The following restrictions apply:

• Photos for personal or private events such as weddings, proms, and senior portraits are prohibited. 
• Visitors will be asked to stop taking photos if they cause a disruption of the museum experience for other visitors, staff, or students.
