“Art Center: 75 Years of Iowa Art” Gallery Talk, featuring Artist Duane Slick

Artist Duane Slick will join Art Center Senior Curator Laura Burkhalter to host a Gallery Talk of “Art Center: 75 Years of Iowa Art.” The exhibition includes a gallery dedicated to Slick’s work in the Richard Meier building. The artwork presented highlights Slick’s interest in experimenting with different media on a thoughtful selection of repeated imagery and themes. Burkhalter will also give an overview of the arrangement that makes up the 125 artworks featured in the exhibition.
