Art Center+ featuring Guided Meditation and Art Terrarium

Event Details

Art Terrarium will be onsite offering a take-home plant activity for purchase. The Art Terrarium plant activity is offered as a drop-in activity with no registration required. Beverages will be available for purchase from Tangerine.

Additionally, those who have pre-registered can join Goddess (he/they/she) in a guided meditation “to ground and center so we may draw love and strength from our ancestral wells and show up more present in our day-to-day lives. ” Following the meditation, we will have writing and discussion time to help process our journey. Please wear comfy clothes and bring a blanket/towel/yoga mat for meditation.

Art Center+ programming throughout February proudly invites you to support Black’d Out Books, a community project led by artist Cameron Gray. The Art Center will serve as a collection site on an ongoing basis. Donate books written by Black authors for Free Black Libraries throughout Ames and Des Moines.
