Hurley & Dancers, a professional modern dance company based in West Des Moines, presents Modern Concepts | Modern Dance. With a mix of choreography and improvisation, dancers highlight the architecture of I.M. Pei’s 1968 auditorium space with exploratory movements of the inner and outer landscape. Choreographers Kathleen Hurley, Lisa Lewis, Paula McArthur, and William Schneider play with concepts of enclosure and expanse, lightness and mass, and suspension and release.

5:00 – 6:00 pm | Enjoy cocktails by Tangerine in the lobby and visit the exhibition Modern Concepts 1910-1960 prior to the performance
