The I. M. Pei building is not only a marvel of architecture, resplendent with art and the changing seasons, it’s also acoustically distinct! Making their Art Center debut, members of the Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus will fill this unique space with harmonies from their social justice and holiday repertoire including from the upcoming winter concert – “Love Joy & Peace – Moving Forward in Song.” Celebrating over 20 years of singing Music that Matters, the DMGMC is a community champion singing to promote harmony, ignite hearts, and move minds. The Chorus will perform a short set at 5 pm and 6 pm. A cash bar will be offered by Tangerine at the Art Center.
