In partnership with Juneteenth Iowa, the Art Center invites you again to donate books by Black authors to Cameron Gray’s Black’d Out Books project. In February 2022, in celebration of Black History month, visitors to the museum donated 50 individual books toward the project. In the spirit of Juneteenth and honoring care for our community, the Art Center challenges visitors to double that number and donate an additional 50 books throughout June. Donations can be dropped off at the Education Desk during regular museum hours.
