Event Details
This exhibition features17 large-scale prints and a related sound piece from Robert Rauschenberg’s “Currents” series of 1970. Join us in the John Brady Print Gallery for a guided tour of the show.
During a tumultuous political moment in the US, the artist conceptualized the “Currents” project as an experience of immersion and overstimulation meant to jarviewers into action. “Currents” refers to current events as much as forces of nature — ocean currents, electrical currents — phenomena that can sweep someoneaway or joltthem into attention.
Public guided tours are offered every Saturday from 1 – 2 pm. Free; no registration required.
