The Des Moines Art Center invites you to participate in Slow Art Day in an entirely new way! Slow Art Day is an annual international event that asks museum-goers to slow down and really look at the art in front of them. In 2022, the Art Center is offering our free 20-minute, guided audio program, Being with Art, to follow along with as you thoughtfully explore the works in our collection. This is a perfect opportunity to bring a friend to share the experience. All you need is a smartphone with headphones or earbuds and a desire to find presence and peace among our beautiful galleries. This program is also available in Spanish.
