Des Moines Art Center + The Avenues Collaboration: Stamp It!

The Des Moines Art Center is partnering with The Avenues of Ingersoll & Grand for their “Art on The Avenues” celebration. Children and families are invited to Chamberlain Park to create their own nature-inspired artworks using blank postcards, stamps, ink, and natural materials gathered from the world around us. Experiment with texture, pattern, and mark-making to create one-of-a-kind prints, taking influence from the park itself.

Inspired by the Des Moines Art Center’s summer exhibition “Topographies: Mapping Being and Belonging,” this pop-up artmaking experience invites participants to create art using the textures and patterns of the natural world.
