Just outside of the highly sculptural, white porcelain-coated pavilion of the Art Center’s Richard Meier building, the patio is an elegant space for welcome cocktails, wedding ceremonies, and bespoke dinner parties.
Looking out over Grand Avenue, this iconic building in Des Moines serves as the perfect backdrop to delight your guests. The sculpture, “Three Way Piece No. 1: Points” (1964-1965) by artist Henry Moore, lives on the North-East corner of the patio, and Bruce Nauman’s “Animal Pyramid” (1990) is on view to the West.
