These include a lecture with the scholar and newly appointed curator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Denise Murrell; a performance of Morton Feldman’s musical arrangement for Philip Guston in the galleries performed near our painting Friend – To M.F., 1978, by Guston; Member Sundae on the front lawn of the Art Center; an exhibition of Justin Favela’s artwork as well as a community fiesta hosted by the artist and members of his family; and the showing of Jeffrey Wolf’s new film, Bill Traylor: Chasing Ghosts, to name a few. We will also host the Latino Film Festival in mid-April. More information will be forthcoming.
