It’s finally spring, and the studio wing of the Art Center is bustling with activity. Summer camps for young people and classes for adults are in full swing. There are other exciting projects in the works as well. The Art Center is in the process of museum reaccreditation through the American Alliance of Museums, or AAM. This process includes a self-study of all our procedures and policies, from finance to art handling, followed by a site visit by peer reviewers from the field. We will hear the results of our application in the fall. The Art Center was first accredited by AAM in 2011, and we strive for reaccreditation every ten years.
