Viewing Art With Essential Workers Episode 2

The Des Moines Art Center believes that access to art belongs to everyone, and that a simple conversation around works of art between two strangers is a perfect way to enjoy our shared humanity. Museum Educator Mia Farrell invites those serving our community in essential roles to connect with her one-on-one to virtually view and discuss works in the Art Center’s collection. These interactions offer contemplation, respite, humor, and joy-benefits that friends and art will always provide. The museum is still here, our works still speaking, and this program is a small offering to the people keeping everything together.
