TIME-TRAVELING ARTISTS

Jump in the Art Center’s time machine and become a junior art historian. Learn how art from different time periods can tell us a lot about how people lived, what they found important, and the technological advances of their time. How did the film camera give rise to surrealist art? How were Renaissance painters influenced by new scientific findings? Find out answers to these questions and create drawings, paintings, and sculptures inspired by your time-travels.

Tuition $158 ($126 *members) per AM/PM session / Material fee $10

Campers now receive a Des Moines Art Center summer camp t-shirt as part of their tuition.
