DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY (12-14)

Capture the world around you and discover the versatility of the digital single lens reflex camera (DSLR). Learn skills in lighting and composition that translate to all photographic mediums like film cameras and cell phone photography. Learn how to upload, edit, and manipulate your images on the computer. Students can use the Art Center’s DSLR cameras for the duration of the class, but they can bring their own to use if they wish!

Campers will take home prints and a flash drive of their work to share!

Tuition $228 ($182 *members) / Material fee $15

Campers now receive a Des Moines Art Center summer camp t-shirt as part of their tuition.

Waitlist: If Regular Admission for this class is sold out, you may join the waitlist below. We will charge a $1.00 holding fee so that if a spot becomes available, we can quickly fulfill your registration request.
