HISTORIC BOOK BINDING STRUCTURES
Join fellow book making enthusiasts for this exciting class that focuses on and uses old techniques to create beautiful books with long histories. Students will learn to make a variety of book styles that include Nag Hammadi from Egypt, Spanish vellum, Ethiopian devotional book, medieval long stitch, and Vademecum, a medieval version of a modern personal digital assistant (PDA). This class is open to all levels. Scholarships for class and materials are available on our website.
