RAKU DELIGHTS: IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT

Learn the wonders of Raku in this fun-packed summer class. The first five classes will consist of making a multitude of forms to be prepped for Raku firing. Students can throw, sculpt, or combine techniques for their pieces to prepare for the firing process. In the last few classes, students will explore the glazing and firing process that gives the surface of your work a vibrant personality! Tuition includes access to open studios. Material fees cover the cost of clay, glaze materials, and firing. Tool kits are available for purchase. Scholarships for class and materials are available on our scholarship page.
