BIG AND LITTLE: PLAYING WITH SCALE IN ART
Artists love to play with the scale of objects in their work! Join us for a week of making artistic miniatures and large-scale paintings and sculptures. By looking at artists like Claes Oldenberg and Coosje van Bruggen, Alexander Calder, and Kamal al-Din Bihzad to guide the way, campers will learn techniques in visual perspective and how to scale their concepts into miniature and grand proportions.
Campers now receive a Des Moines Art Center summer camp t-shirt as part of their tuition.
