WEEK-LONG CLAY WORKSHOP: HAND-BUILDING AND WHEEL TECHNIQUES (12-14)

Work with your hands to create three-dimensional work in clay. Learn sculptural hand-building techniques and how to make vessels on the potter’s wheel. Finish your work with color using surface design applications and glazes. All levels are welcome; beginning students will focus on the fundamentals, while returning students will be guided independently in advanced techniques.

Campers now receive a Des Moines Art Center summer camp t-shirt as part of their tuition.
