ADVANCED AND INDEPENDENT STUDY: CASTING

Design and create your own one-of-a-kind wearable works of art as you explore casting. Learn the basics of designing 3 dimensional objects, creating a model from wax using carving methods, weighing and measuring to anticipate the weight in silver, and investing and casting by the centrifugal method. Work toward small sculptural forms to make items like rings or parts for other types of jewelry. You are also free to work on your own in this class. All levels are welcome. Scholarships for classes and materials are available on our website.
