ART AND PLAY: STORIES AND FAIRYTALES (5-6)

This class encourages kids to do two of the things they do better than anyone else- engage their creativity and have fun! Students will use classic children’s stories as inspiration for their own fantastic artwork.

This class will be messy and fun, so wear clothing you can get dirty! Students will use washable tempera paints for their projects, which can sometimes stain clothing. Scholarships for classes and materials are available on our website.

*No class on February 14th! Please consider coming to the Des Moines Art Center’s free, all-ages Social Saturday on February 14th to make some art instead! Bring the family!
