Description
FIGURE DRAWING: CONTEMPORARY DESIGN
Students will learn to produce dynamic figure studies and final works from observation of anatomy using the medium of your choice. Go beyond what the figure is doing with a thematic approach and Explore movement, gesture, and expression, using a variety of mediums and value as it applies to figure drawing. Formal instruction will be provided for conté, pastel, charcoal, and watercolor. All levels are welcome; advanced instruction provided for returning students. (Recommended prerequisites of Introduction to Drawing classes) Students are expected to bring their own materials. Scholarships for classes and materials are offered.
