THE WORLD OF COMIC BOOKS (12-14)
Take a course in the wide world of comics. Learn the fundamental illustration techniques including line, shading, proportion, and gesture, to create expressive drawings while learning about different comic styles, including superhero fiction, classic comic books, graphic novels, and manga- comic books and graphic novels originating from Japan. Create dynamic poses, storyboards, and scenes with characters you create.
Campers now receive a Des Moines Art Center summer camp T-shirt as part of their tuition.
