“Art Center: 75 Years of Iowa Art” Gallery Talk, featuring Artists Mary Young Bear, Sarah Young Bear-Brown, and Daniel Young Bear-Brown

Artists Mary Young Bear, Sarah Young Bear-Brown, and Daniel Young Bear-Brown will join Art Center Senior Curator Laura Burkhalter to host a Gallery Talk of “Art Center: 75 Years of Iowa Art.” The exhibition includes 125 artworks with ties to Iowa and is organized into five sections. The Young Bear family’s works are highlighted in the gallery focusing on “The Art of Our Time.” There are seven pieces of exquisite beadwork in the exhibition and the artists will bring additional items that are in-process to help show the intricacies of their compositions and technique.
