NAMI Iowa, Project Recovery Iowa, and the Des Moines Art Center present a transformative evening discussing the role art can play in recovery.
Join us to learn how the museum can be used to amplify your well-being. We’ll explore the benefits of art in our daily lives by connecting with the artwork and participating in conversations about resiliency, self-care, and mental health advocacy. This guided gallery event is created in partnership with NAMI Iowa and led by Des Moines Art Center Museum Educator, Mia Buch.
The program consists of a one-hour participatory museum visit, followed by 30 minutes of dialog and resource sharing. Free; registration required.
