Visit the Des Moines Art Center during The Avenues’ annual Peppermint Trail to sample yummy cookies and candies while doing some holiday gift buying for the art lovers on your list. Visit the galleries to view the current exhibition, “Samantha Box: Caribbean Dreams,” and at 1 pm, enjoy a guided tour by an Art Center docent.
The museum galleries and shop will be open from 12 pm – 5 pm. Admission to the museum and the guided tour are free.
