The Art Center is pleased to participate in the Peppermint Trail, an event hosted by The Avenues of Ingersoll & Grand and the Roosevelt Cultural District on Saturday, December 9. Local shops and restaurants will feature peppermint or holiday themed specials and décor at each stop along the Peppermint Trail.
At the Art Center, you can enjoy hot cocoa and a holiday treat while browsing fantastic gift selections in the Museum Shop including a 10% discount on holiday décor, a hands-on art activity, and docent led drop-in tours at 11 am and 1 pm. Join us for a guided tour of the extraordinary work in “Transform Any Room,” the current exhibition featuring subversive, politicized, and sometimes glamorized versions of the textiles and objects we bring into our homes.
You can also find some of our Art Center colleagues at the State Farm office on Ingersoll Avenue from 11 am – 2 pm where they will be offering an additional hands-on art activity with Families Forward.
