ART ESSENTIALS: ACRYLIC PAINTING (12-14)
This year we are happy to offer a new set of classes for 12-14-year-olds called Art Essentials!
Art Essentials: Acrylic Painting will guide students through one of the cornerstones of artmaking. Acrylic paints offer a wide range of possible applications, allowing artists to create layers of color and texture more freely than with other paint mediums.
Students will learn how to prepare canvases to create depth and dynamic color using gesso, underpainting, sketching and color blocking. Students will incorporate techniques of color mixing, highlighting, and shading as well. Scholarships for classes and materials are available on our website.
